MOT help SCOOTRS IGNITION no front light

Anything related to Lambrettas... ask tech questions, post helpful info, or just read and learn.

If the ignition earth has a bullet on it then extends on to a ring terminal you can plug this into the white socket on the bulb holder, earth the ring and do away with the white earth to the headlight rim. This one wire will then earth both the ignition and lights.

I did away with that one sometime ago and earthed to the throttle holder bolt.

Update - think it is either a lonely grey = the rear brake light, can i check this with a low amp 12v lead battery?? or multimeter?? either way there isnt anything next to it headset connector end.

M - Got a yellowed type and rewired connections and looked at just about everything inc changing rear light to led, new brake sensor.

Narrowed it down i think to the wiring of the grey - on a wiring diag in stickys p221 OR p224 really not sure which it is (no indicator lugs) its the one i need (i think) its on its own eg no live power one next to it, looking at the link is there anything i can move to give that power? Its a scootrs ignition.

Note on the cr*p line drawing L = from scooter i = scootrs ignition which i am sure you can guess i drew.
