Well folks now for the humble pie bit. This is the race clutch according to Rayspeed , seemingly Surflex don't bother
to machine flat the rear of the crown wheel so if you get a well finished crown wheel it's the indian road clutch.
It's a bit like when our lass burns the bairn's fishcakes and puts the burnt side to the bottom and covers them in baked beans.
What you can't see shouldn't worry you , mind the the fishcakes don't spin at however many rpm and work under load , but I
suppose that's what your product insurance is there to cover . :o

No apologies for the hub bearing though as that definitely was a JBL India and not a Casa one

For fit and forget, I've yet to find or use a better complete clutch package than the LTH 7 plate.[/quote]

I'll second that.I've got one in a tv200 (225 stg4) and i've done over 10,000 miles on the same plates.I took them out to check 2 weeks ago and there was 0.07mm wear across the 7 corks against a new set. This scoot has done the last 3 eurolambrettas plus umpteen other rallys and general caning about.I also towed a mate 12 miles from bilbao town to the ferry so he did'nt miss the boat on his fully loaded tvs2.Price? £440 but not made in some comedy Indian shack by clowns but beautifully engineered by Germans who know a thing or too about quality. :) Literally fit and forget.
