You should have asked them to 'put it aside for you' instead then you could simply have changed your mind at a later date.gp200ts1 wrote:bit p155 poor on the supply side, yes 150 boxes were delivered to the uk this week but there were only 90 sliding dogs/selectors so although i've paid for my gearbox and optional 5th gear i cant have my gearbox because it aint complete!
very frustrating considering i've paid for it all
My understanding is that the problem with the selector supply is that they are so hard to make that the tooling needs to be upgraded - hence the delay.
Patience is a virtue

Was that Mr Days, he was telling me he planed to try it out this season. I know he feels there wont be any issues. Not sure if hes using the F1 version though.Speed Demon wrote:I'd be tempted to either wait for more people to try them in high HP engines (I believe there's one going to be used in Group 6 racing this year) or buy the stupidly expensive one. If the Group 6 bike doesn't snap teeth off the standard one in the first few meetings then you'll probably be ok, but let someone else push the boundaries first.
You are a big fan of Viet stuff though aren't you? Wouldn't you rather wait for one of the inevitable copies?
