thank fook you didnt do a Mescaleros scoot darryll! my GP"s name is a toss up between "rock art and the x-ray style" and "alreet petite"! topper looking scoot , and ya nar i love strummer and the Clash! reminds me of my brother in laws series 2 TS1 , "HellFire and Damnation"
This engine is quite a few years old, I used it for the ACU challenge a couple or 3 years ago, had an MB Clubman fitted then, Ive now changed to a Rev Tour, power delivery seems a little down on previous years, so will have a little play with the needle settings to get it right, then again it was fitted to my GP and it's now in a flying brick, so that may well have something to do with it too ! Top speed previously was 71 mph, I'd say it's down by about 5 mph currently...... trouble is I've got used to my Ron Moss 200, and that little thing flies !!
Old Lambrettas Never die ..................... they just go Faster !
just my opinion less is more, but i do like it and the sign writing reminded me of my dads old vans (land rovers) as they were done by hand by a propper sign writer . i saw one of the vans being done when i was a young whipper snapper, the sign writer used a stick with a leather ball on the end to rest onto the van whilst lettering the van with paint and brushes . i am doing a series 1 at the mo, cant make my mind up on the look not bother with paint and a bit of propper sign writing or a full spray job. anyway well done
Loving that D, good job,.....As an Art student in the early 70's
I was made to do calligraphy and your scoot strikes a chord
with me. Pardon the pun,
I guess you must have taken a few rides at Carters Steam Fair
in your youth......? G.
