GT kits and new cylinder heads are about 4-5 weeks away. Casting is done, I'm waiting for machining at the moment. Gran Sport is the place to call to reserve one.

Cheers, it is something I will look.at in the future as they sound like q great bit of kit.

But in the meantime I may end up with one of those cheap ally kits... What would people recommend you do to.them porting wise? And who would be a good person to do this? What kind of costs would be involved?

I have never had any work like this done before.

Cheers

You might need to be a little careful with the alloy Ebay kits. I hear from a very reputable tuner in the north of the midlands that some of the liners can be soft and result in very rapid wear from the rings. A bit of a shame if you've invested a lot of tuning work into a barrel only to find it wears out very quickly.

It would be rude to turn down the kit I have been offered, so its worth a shot if the tuning isn't to much.

Or if anyone offers porting work, please pm me to discuss. Thanks, Jordan
