Just mark us out of 10 the closest to right being a 9 the least close a 1, for trying.

Think I might score a 1 on this one cus I Now think it might be what others have suggested fuel vacume.

Still, it's worth a guess.......

What a silly suggestion that is when you created the forum :?

Perhaps I mis-read this then

Any ideas, thoughts or similar experience.....................?
Whatever, f.u.c.k it, I'd have done something like say 'hey guys, I've got a problem with a customers scooter - might be this but might not - any ideas ? There's a bottle of 2 stroke in it for you if you can help me find the fault and save me and the customer hours of time going through every possible scenario'.

Your customer, your forum. Do what the hell you want.

So what do you think the problem is Stokie, fuel vacuum or ignition based.......there's a bottle of oil in it for you if you're right

Ill fix it meself for a bottle of oil :D
I was going to put a reply on to Stokie saying pretty much the same thing as Dans reply, its not about profiteering more "spreading the knowledge" for everyones benefit.
The written word can be interpreted many different ways from the way it was said.

Anyway back on topic.............if its an airlock in the tank it will happen as the fuel level gets down towards 3/4 full so easy enough to check, personally i always stick a 2mm drill bit through the cap handle from underneath so that it cant block.

Good thought.

Customer actually wants his Agusto 7000 changing for a 6000 and his 35mm TMX for a Delly 30mm flat slide, so i'll swap those two bits over first, and check for an air-lock on the fuel side whilst i'm on with it. I'll also strobe up his new Agusto and test the L/T coil and the pickup whilst i've got it all in bits and see if i get any dodgy readings. After that, if i've still found nowt (hopefully unlikely at this point) i'll check for loose magnets on the stator, and swap the CDI for a known working item and see where that leaves us........ :|
