So..did we ever get to the bottom of this thread...which is the best all round value disc brake set up..Id say non-anti dive scootrs standard looking hub for looks price and braking capabilitys, you could go Frank, PM, Worb/LTH but does a lambretta and the speeds we do really warrant this and is say the scootrs more than sufficent for our needs..?, I ask simply because im now in the market for one and will be buying one shortly..so if anyone knows whos got any at a decent price as they seem to vary from £220 to £275 for the same brake and set up with silver hub (as everyone seems to have white in stock) ;) let me know...

Personally I like Jason Frost's antidive front disc brake ;)

ScootRS is a good brake for stopping, but too good. The caliper is designed for a much larger wheel and more powerful bike. When I first fitted one many years ago I REALLY hated the dive and feelinf of going over the handlebars. Anti-dive cures this, but not the ScootRS antidive. If you don't fancy antidive then buy one that uses the Grimeca/Vespa caliper, this is designed for a 10" wheel, or use the SIP caliper with slightly larger piston and better quality pads :-)
Some racers say ScootRS for track and Grimeca for road.
