I'm trying to do a home made antidive set up to fit to my ScootRS diskbrake at the moment and one thing is puzzling me ,looking at the pictures on this thread of the Scooter Innovations and CS engineering setups have they done away with the locating pin on the fork link that goes into the U shape on a normal drum type hub?
On these setups is the wheel only held by the spindle and the antidive bar/rod? So the only thing that stops the hub backplate/brake caliper rotating under braking is the antidive bar/rod itself (and the locating pin on drum links or extra stud on disk links is done away with)?

Correct. The tie rod will need to pivot at either end and the carrier plate will also require a bush or bearing on the spindle.

Thanks soulsurfer, I hadn't thought of a bearing on the spindle to let the caliper rotate slightly.

If you're looking at using them for road use, I've been knocking these out for a couple of years http://lambrettaupgrades.co.uk/frontdampers.aspx there's quite a few of the stateside guys got them, I've probably done around 45 sets. Smiffy (RinB) has had a set for a couple of years if you wanna ask his opinion. PM me if interested.
