Thank you Eden. I'm very close to the first ride. Just a matter of a few things like indicator lights that cause me lots of troubles to be found. they are not classical bulbs like those used in the PX range but 39mm long 12V 24 w festoon lamps. I finally found them in 41 mm long in the UK made for old classical cars. Same trouble for the speedo bulb one. Just a nightmare to find the right one. In 30 years things are gone by so fast that what you thought close in time is just obsolete and dead gone for ever without any flashing lights warming you you're just an has been too.

No,not married yet,not so lucky
I'm still young
I also have an S-Box gathering dust,

it will go to something similar like yours,
a cast iron 245cc.
This is my crankcase.

.
This is the small block crankcase I was afraid to put the putty in,
I tried my best to match the maghouse but there is a tiny gap that I don't like.
Thanks again for sharing with us your knowledge.

Your porting job is high level stuff. Excellent!
Had troubles with the S-Box when fitted it for trial. Exhaust manifold couldn't front perfectly the one of the barrel. Almost 1cm out of the target and no way to shove it in place without cut or weld the pipe/bracket. That's one of the reasons I finally bought the Gori which is nicely crafted and fit properly without extra adaptative work.

Thank you,
I'll use a 2mm base packer on the large block,
I had told Marco to take care of this,I haven't fitted it yet
One pic next to a modified 50mm Gori (RLC),
both really well made exhausts.

Jetting: Iddle jet 54, main 110, X2 needle and AV264. A bit rich at low revs but sounds ok for the running in.
First test today and first disappointing with the clutch more than dragging. It doesn't work at all. Almost impossible to shift gear or find the neutral. I guess that common for most of you but that really sucks... It a complete MB 5 plate. If anyone has an idea....

adjust the clutch cable some more as the outer often doesn't locate properly until you start pulling the clutch.
