Good video and the tree incident made me jump; surprised it didn't claw you off.

Anyway, you may have been asked this before, but what make is the speedo and does it run with the normal speedo cable or magnet. Plus, if possible, a photo of how you have fixed it to the headset would be appreciated.

Thanks

Speedo is one of these http://www.gammatechnology.co.uk/rtse1000.html
they now make the bracket to fix it to the headset.

The GT kit made it to the Four Nations rally in Northern Ireland last weekend, no problems just great roads to attack and an excellent rally.

Videos to come later when I get back from my holiday :)

sorry Ive been in Mexico for a couple of weeks, Plane landed Friday and I rode to Brid on Saturday on the GT kit.

Now the last LCGB BSM rally has come and gone ill be spending some time in the garage, I'll take some pics of the bracket and post them up.

Out of the 18 signing on rally's I've done this year, one was over 2000 miles and another was nearly 1000 miles, the GT kit has made it to everyone except one which was due to a broken kick-start shaft, It made it back home from all the others besides two, one was due to a split fuel tank and the other was due to a holed piston which I can only attribute to bad fuel as it was the only time I have put Shell Fuel Saver unleaded in it. The kit has also done a few other non signing on events such as Cobblesoul and VSMC during the year.

My conclusion after one year testing and this year thrashing it to death is that its a fantastic kit for rallying especially with a slight tune. Its not as powerful as my cast 240 but then the difference in tune between the two is vast but its held its own all year against/with a multitude of different motors doing thousands and thousands of hard miles.

Mainly due to how efficient the kit is, my cast 240 has only been out three times this year, Germany, Modra and Burton. I have preferred to ride the GT kit not only because it uses a lot less fuel than the cast 240 but also because its so much easier to ride, on many occasions this year I have opted to not bother changing down the gears when reaching roundabouts and small towns on my travels, the GT kit is quite happy pulling 4th gear on 4.7 final drive from as low as 18 mph so unless you have stopped there is no need to change down.

Only once this year have I been ridding the GT kit and wished I was on my cast 240, that was ridding back from Woolacombe playing on the motorway with Martin on his twin. but tbh if I had been on my cast 240 im quite sure I would have blown it up

Its been a great rally year this year for many many reasons, one of those reasons has been because the GT big block has done a great job of munching the miles.

Would I buy one?

Defiantly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)
