If I have to kick start my Aprilia RS 250 I'm not about to stop kickstarting my Lambretta! Still, if you are hadicapped or have a broken leg and you still want to ride....

I have seen a few of those "asian' machines'(not worth the name scooter) with that starter set up. Yet another thing on them that only lasts for 50 miles. Purely used as a selling point.

this wud b a good kit to do,
but u need to get a starter that is 12volt,arrow head ,cwr,
that u can get off the shelf,
then we can start,
i can get the ring gear cut, and mod he mag flange,
will have to look at how to do the flywheel,

well at least one person is thinking on the same lines,
get cracking dave see if you can come up with something so that i can use all the case sides that have had the kickstart shaft hole welded up during my racing term.

Looks like another exhaust needs designing, hmmm,

No thanks. Extra weight, power drain, and more moving parts to fail. It's a Lambretta, kick or bump start it.
