Thought I was having a senior moment when I first saw Broady's timing disc. Very confusing for a novice. Quite why the timing marks are shown clockwise of TDC I do not know. Perhaps his printer got a mirror image to work withDazza wrote:Are you using the MB Timing Disc?
Is it me being a thickoor is this misleading:
I fell foult o it the other month marking my BTDC clockwise to TDC because of this disc (schoolboy error I know but...)
Cant turn the stator more than 25º!

I had a GP Elemec flywheel,ArKaTxU wrote:Hi again.
Seems like i have the wrong flywheel.
Watching the Sticky book pag 109 seems like i have the keyway positioned anti-clockwise of the rivet.
Someone can confirm this?
The flywheel is an ELEMEC one and i dont know if is diferent to a SIL one.
Thanks!!!
very well made but I could only get 21 degrees, using a 120W BGM stator.
I couldn't set to lower degrees without modifying the stator slots.

Ok Dimitrios_231, i say 25, but maybe are 21 maximum.
The problem is that i want to have 17º for the RB20.
Maybe buying an Agusto 6000-7000 i can use this configuration
