Stunning scooter. You could put a Vespa 50 engine in it and it would still be one of the coolest scooters about.

It's that design and paintwork that started my obsession with GP's to the point where I've sold my 65 Italian ( as if the country of origin is relevant ) for a 1976 Indian GP 200 and I will be replacing the Innocenti front badge for a SIL one

thanks for the positive remarks,
i didn't want to try and pretend it was italian hence the sil badges etc
i managed to do a bit more
rebuilt motor & got it in frame
just cabling and wiring then she should be done

Finished at last!!!!!!!!! :bouncing: :bouncing:

got it running yesterday
(did take some video on phone but haven't worked out how to put it on here yet)

most of the s types i remember from 81,82,83 were W,X AND Y REG` I NEVER SAW THAT MANY ITALIAN ONES TBH SOME STILL HAD INDICATORS ON TS200 i love the gratuitous GTS shot us auto boys gotta stick together you on the GTS forum ?
