hi soulsurfer. there are two versions of the seat for sale (although not the painted one ;) ). one is made of glassfibre reinforced plastic the other one is made of carbon. (if you are interested, i'll send you a link...) the scoot hasn't been on a dyno yet. but i picture the performance will be high enough to run a decent quarter-mile this season :)

the oxide flecks... huuu... i think they kinda had the movie poster in mind when doing the paintjob...

sibyl wrote:@fireman ash: 12". (The tires are Schwalbe Raceman 120/70-12 & 130/70-12) The conversion is based on a VESPA GTS300. Brake drum, PK fork and shock absorbers had to be modified. (Shortening the shocks was tricky ) If you are interested, I can surely find you some pictures of how it was done...
any more info on how this conversion was done?

Did watch to the scoot yesterday in Antwerp.
Why is there a large gap in the black&white lines between frame and right hand side panel?!

yup, riley. i'm right on my way to work, but i'll post it later.
m210 a gap? i'll check this and tell you wether it's intended or busted :o

p.s.: one may rightfully dislike the background-sound of the speedo-video. but this here sounds like the sweetest music :D

The framework is based on a VNB. We took an already slightly modified VBB frame and remodelled it in the Vespa Seigiorni style. The tread plate was pulled inwards and cutted a little. The fissures got a tin-coating.
To match the bulky 12“ chassis, GS160 side panels were attached. We used GTS300 rims. The brake drum was modified and the according PK-seatings were turned, streched and shortened to allow the wheel and the shok absorber to sit comfortably. We also shortened one of the new SIP Performance shock absorber for PX to PK-length and modified a Vespa VL mudguard. Here are some pictures I took, when we were shortening the shocks...

It is nice, but I do think with the larger wheels that the wheelbase could be longer - then you would also be able to use the seat better 8-)
