Having now spent some time reading the whole thread I am not so confused So is anyone out there using this filter on a TMX 35mm housed in a GP.

ive seen them used on an sx200 which should be similar. i think you may need an mbd or jimmers short manifold though.

This is for my GP200 (DL) with MB RaceTour ported TS1 230 with MB manifold and V-Force reeds running Mikuni 35 TMX.

same set up as mine but i have a 71mm piston and im convinced it runs better with the filter possibly because the air is funneled into the carb rather than turbulent against the panel or maybe because my subconscious just wants it to run better, i can never tell

but its nice and clean under the panels and i dont s**t myself as i go over freshly gritted roads so thats what i was after.

Same here, 71mm x 58 mm TS1 RaceTour porting, and I wanna keep the "loose chippings" outta the engine.

The sun is out today but there's still ice on the roads and we're going back down to -7 by Friday.

So kevo are you running one or just wanting too ?

Currently I'm running the MB Flat Ram Air filter that I've run for two years. I have a Breath Sweet filter that I may try putting on tomorrow if it gets above 0º C outside.
