@ Mouse, I have just been on your site and tried to use your super duper inter active parts finder to find the solid clutch spider. When I click on clutch I get an exploded diagram of a clutch, when I click on no. 31 all I get is a cheap indian spider and a few clutch shims. But when I click on the clutch inner flange I get a cheap indian one and the nice race tour one.
You website is too inconsistent, you never know if its not for sale or if you just haven't used the correct way of finding it.
Every search option has to work everytime for every part.

try now.

by way of an explanation, all parts have to be flagged to decide if and where they get shown on the interactive diagram.
this has to be done manually and gets forgotten. the clutch spider shims are there because they are a new invention so aren't in the innocenti drawing so they got put with the nearest most relevant thing.

as for knowing if something is for sale or not - if it's in stock you can add it to your cart, if it's out of stock it will say so. if it's long term out of stock it will be switched off so as not to appear.

any more comments are welcome. thanks.

Chiselspeed now stock the Scoot RS spider, seen them they're great value for money. They have been trialed on some scoots and have proved to be spot on.........

Sometimes think things are over engineered/priced for no reason, theres plenty of std type spider lasting season on season.

@ Ian, okay useing clutch parts as an example. When useing your Parts Index search function on the left hand side of your front page. I click the link to enter the parts index ,I click the link for MBD products (because the Race Tour parts are made by you) then I click the Clutch Related link and all I get is 3 random clutch parts and no sign of the Race Tour clutch parts. If these parts are not MBD produced clutch related parts then what are they then?
I can't see another link that looks more relevant.
There was a thread recently here on the forum about scooter websites that were hard to use and MB was one of the first that was mentioned. Thats got to tell you something.
I hope you will take this as constructive critisisum. :?
Your website should be as good as the parts you make.;)

You mean the parts index search function on the right surely? No wonder you can't find stuff if you get left and right mixed up. :D

Anyway, that function is being looked at - it's supposed to work like the windows file system but we've never got it quite how we want it.
Again, stuff needs adding to categories otherwise it would all just be in one big category.

To compare it to real life you have the people that walk into a shop and wander round all day and say "oh yeah, there's that clutch spider I needed", you get some that will say "right, let me find the clutch aisle" and then you get those that walk up to the front desk and say "I want a clutch spider". Which one are you? We know we need to cater for all three types and we are working on it.

Mark does all this complicated stuff at home and sometimes things get
overlooked. His computer is on go slow and some links are not working
but we are looking into them, he's updated some of it for you. Easiest
way is to search in the search box, try typing in clutch spider or Clu
spi,(in the box at the top right) and hey presto, easy!
(this a a quote from the MD@MRB-MBD!)
