the caliper is well machined and the piston very tight in the bore, fitted with a vented disc and newfren sintered pads and a new mbd stainless circlip
initial test run i was very impressed, controlled sharp front disc brake.
they look like a scootrs caliper but with larger and solid stainless piston which has jap 30mm double piston seals, easily and cheaply bought.
i tried it against a new scootrs caliper but the seals were leaking so not a good comparison , the scootrs circlip is not very thick also and allows more play with the caliper.
i have a scootrs caliper in my gp with non sintered pads and non vented disc , i will do a swop the weekend and see if the new caliper improves things.
for those who want to keep an inboard disc i recommend this
