yes, I was pleasantly surprised at the difference just rewinding the coils has made since last time, but part of that is just me expecting the worst... To get to zero at 1000 revs less would be an outright winner.
Definitely a market out there.
Would've been good to test it more with just the standard lights, I think it would do well for that as it is. Maybe we should've flipped the choke off and it wouldn't have been so smokey...

If not then there's space behind the horn cast, I have mine fixed to the 2 legs of thre horn bracket as I've done away with the originhal.

I'll definately be sending one of my stators to them when the final spec is sorted. Just as a matter of interest though, does anyone know if theres anything that can be done with the strength of the magnets on the flywheel as well?

latest test shows we are nearly there
1200rpm -5.2 amps
1500rpm -4,8 amps
2200rpm -2.7 amps
3000rpm -0.5 amps
3500rpm 0.0 amps
then it charges with the standard 1.8 amps all the way to 8000rpm
this is with 115w of lights on all the time
with just your std lights on =70w
at tickover it is pulling -3.0 amps then it starts to charge the battery (0.1 amps) at 2500rpm.
so its back to the people on monday for another go :P

Fantastic work Mark, I've compiled the results so far into a table, which makes comparisons a bit easier:

Std Mark1 Mark2 Mark3 Mark4?
1200 -5.6 -5.2
1500 -4.5 -5 -4.5 -4.8
2200 -2.6 -2.7
2500 -3 -2
3000 -0.7 -0.5
3500 -2.6 -1
5500+ -2.3 0 1.3 1.8

All readings taken with converted SIL stator and approx 115watts load
