Sean did you fit the TS1 piston into the barrel or is it another piston you have used?

I used the original Rapido piston and just modified it,as that was the request and instructions from the customer..
the ring pegs on the rapido piston are closer together than on a tsi piston, and so this restricts the width of the central boost port somewhat.
having said that ,its easily possible to put in three boost ports (an extra one either side of central boost).....but this was not done in this case,I would like to try that though... :D

I would also like to add at this stage that the asso piston is on the 1.5mm rings and that the customer/owner weighs approx 19 stone.....
and so all this was taken into account... :D

Ooops....sorry Sean, i forgot to bring a copy of the graph home to scan.

Its not a Race Rapido (i dont think) and it hasnt been 'fettled' in the same style as yours Joe, i'll post a graph when i get chance, but it kicked out 18bhp.

It had a good spread of power from just over 5k to beyond 8k, so over 3k spread of power, nice torque curve, peak power at approx 7k.

Not arm wrenching, or rev-crazy, just a good spread of usable power.
