i suspect you are trying to guage what type of person i am in someway by your post as some of my posts are loud and may seem abrasive

You suspect correctly. I find text, email and forums such an odd phenomina, mostly in the sense that people can write something with a certain slant.....but it can be interpreted several different ways by different people, depending on what mood they are in, or which words the emphasize. So i try to take a very casual approach to these things, and be quite relaxed about it all.....after all...its just a forum!

so for anyone who thinks im a bit of a c0ck maybe if you meet me you might have a differant opinion

I think some are being a bit harsh on the value here. Sure you can buy a freshly restored Indian for less than £2000 but it is still 25 years old and will need at least £500 spending on it to make it reliable. Every Indian restored scoot I've ever seen looks great as long as you view it from the other side of the road. Something thats had the work done in the UK using decent components must be worth around two grand, surely.

Simon, i bought one a couple of months back for £1,600, it had been restored in india but had been in the country for a couple of years and had been inproved upon, it came with a £150 ancillotti on from jem booth and a spare ancilloti type seat and a few bits and bobs, S1s, 200 engine ETC, still spent about £400 brining it up to scratch, bearings, chain, hubs, brakes, exhaust, layshaft, if your mates has already been sorted its got to be worth at least £2,000-£2,500. I sold my old indian honda 205 about 10 years ago for £2,200 , regards.
