Used Continental Zippy 1's 100/90/10 on my TV200 for a couple of years.I felt very secure in the wet and dry, but they did wear fairly quickly about 2200miles on the rear tyre.
Now using same tyres but 3-50/10 on my GP. wore the rear one out in about 1800miles so substituted a 3-50/10 Michelin S1............2300 miles and still going.............

Would like to try a Schwalbe tyre next...............

Used Avon Spartan's in the 60's......................or remoulds if I was skint(as usual)

Conti zippy 1's! excellent grip wet or dry, but they grip so well that they wear fast. A price worth paying IMHO. I'm trying out a schwalbe raceman at the moment too but it doesn't give me the same confidence in the wet.

Sava's are the racers secret. Trying to sell Savas to road going scooterists is like trying to sell bacon sarnies at a weight watchers meeting.
Savas are actualy the most popular tyres out there for twist n tw@7 types of scooters but they weren't around in the 80s so have no axe to grind.
