There is a huge Autojumble about 10 miles from my house this weekend where i am sure i would find just such a plate manifold, but I need to go to Wicksteed instead. What a bummer.

The plan was always to fabricate the ali flange, but it was the flanged rubber (or plate manifold, as it is also known) that I couldn't get from the breakers. I have now asked Jimmers to get some for me from his supplier, but it would have been nice to know that a rubber from a Kawazuki 400 triple (a made-up mtorcycle) were perfect for my purposes.
