all the tools to build it the ability to put it together properly and the 1 1/4 pints of oil for the gearbox

That's £3,000 in total. Maybe the chaincase price is low, but still looking a around £1k less.
You will find many of the GT products have gone up in price for 2018.. Dez to date hasn't updated his site with the new prices.
