Is the carb solid mount? Alu cylinder? and where can I buy one?

I
Cast Iron, rubber mount carb, different manifolds available, 25 & 30 for LHS and 30 & 35 for RHS, pretty sure the RHS is recommended for the 240.

I reckon it'd work well with a TMX27mm my 225 Mugello with reed valve does and over 50 mpg.

I have a scotty steel lined TS 34mm tmx b-race pipe. Was surprised to have covered 78 motorway miles on 6.5 litres.

Just an option seen as fux has a TS at hand. No idea wot size the wrist pin width is though?

I can't assist with an answer to your question but I would be interested in finding out what jetting You are using on the TMX 30 with your TS1 and whether you are using the power jet ?

Bollox, I answerd this and the answer dissapeared.

I`m running the original needle im the middle possition, original power jet, 310 or 320 main, 25 pilot jet. I had to go for a larger pilot when I fit the ADS3 at the start of this season from a 20.

I ended up re-using my TS1 and lowerd the ports with the 62x110 cranckshaft.

It runs great but the bore is on its last legs and it suffers from piston slap. I ran it to a rally, no back up van, alone 1300km, no probs. (I`m daft)

I am now waiting for an oiltek tank, SS240 portwork and re-profiled head by Martin at chisselspeed.

Should be fun.
