i agree with that, but why settle for a gp200 box when for a bit more cash you could buy the af close ratio box, will transform your ride, first gear is a longer gear, i have to use a little bit of revs and slip the clutch a little to get away,i am running a 21 front sprocket though, then the jump between 1 and 2 is small so it pulls well in 2nd, 3rd and 4th are the same as gp200 which is only a small jump,the ratios are spot on, even when your changing down, realy helps an engine thats peaky or a narrow powerband, but will work well in any set up, your overall top speed will be governed by your front sprocket choice, i would always use this type of box given an option.Padge wrote:a change to an Indian GP box (18/47) would give you a similar final drive, a better 3rd to 4th jump and a damn sight easier life on the clutch, those are the reasons I'm gonna change mine
