no chance taking both hands off, if I did it would either vere into a hedge or in front of an oncoming vehicle. It's bad enough taking one hand off to indicate! Will check the rear hub later thanks for that suggestion.

deffo something wrong then, my GP I regularly both hands off adjusting gloves etc LOL, bad habit from big bikes that its far safer on

is the front wheel upright?
are the springs etc in the front the same, no broken or odd things going on, buffers etc correct
heavy is good, heavy is reliable, and if it does fail, hit them with it!!!

I can lift my hands off and mine stays in a straight line
Another place to look is what happens to the front wheel under load.
If one side is compressing more than the other, it should show up worse under braking.
There's a section in Sticky's book that will help
Tyre pressures can make a big difference, I personally run 20/30, but much more and it feels like It's jumping around.
Hope you get it sorted.

Right think I've sorted it finally! After a sleepless night spent trying to convince myself I fitted the bottom ball cage upside down I stripped forks out and to my disappoint everything was as it should be. So I've just replaced the Scootopia bottom and top ball cages with £4 ones from Buzz Solo, put it back together, everything as it should be and forks fall to either side as you'd expect, took it for a spin absolutely bloody amazing ! Even took both hands off bars whils riding back no problem at all, happy as a pig in s**t.
Wouldn't so so far as call Scootopia's bearings shite, but probably just some bad ones that slipped through the net? I don't know...
