Fantastic, got it mate, thanks, I could of taken a little bit too much off there! Will I be able to do this all with a standard Dremel? Any tips on polishing it up once I have removed what needs removing?

take the meat with tungsten then use drum sand bits then finish off with felt pads with polishing compound

Dremmeled the mag today. Fits like a glove now




Started on the transfers but the Dremel bit I was using was going to take me a week on each! Gonna order some new bits and start again. Glad I started though as I've never done anything like this before and just making the first cut has given me confidence to do it

Took at bit of the meat off today, a little bit more on both sides and I'll start with the sandpaper bits then polish

Got a bit carried away! Whoops glad it was an old one, new one on the way

Finished! Tidied up and polished, fit the TS1 gasket perfect

This is an S1 mag housing,its lubricated by the fuel and oil.The mag housing in the earlier photo is a later one which is lubricated by grease.

Well spotted! The earlier one had a crack in it, so I started to tidy this one up. Anyhoo, both knackered now, so have ordered a new one this afternoon
