Everything cleaned up beautifully,considering the crap that was on it!,all bearings have been replaced,and new nuts and washers fitted.
Shimming the gearbox was a doddle,the original shims were cleaned and re fitted as a guide,and would you believe it,they were all spot on and well within tolerance,so happy days :D ,everything turns as smooth as silk :D :D

A lot more progress today,crankshaft fitted,sweet as a nut :D

Front sprocket/chain/guides/clutch,all in place :D (Bugger!,the picture never came out :x )
Crankcase cover fitted :D

3rd kick from dry!,sounds lovely 8-)
Possibility of a slight change of plan,it may now be going for the full resto a year early!,im just awaiting the final decision,and ill strip it right back to the base parts 8-)

I would,but he's seen pictures of restored scooters,and is very keen on the 'as new' look,cant blame him really,there are some beautiful machines out there!
