Use a good quality spray gun and paint. Make sure all the panel work is prepped thoroughly and spotlessly clean. I like to heat it all up prior to top coat. Yeah, when you see a Scooter in Scootering that the owner 'built', but in reality they paid someone else to do it. This is a true owner built Lammy. I've done every single aspect of the build myself. I'm not slating people for paying others to build their bikes, each to their own really. I'm quite lucky in that I'm quite mechanically minded and can turn my hand to most things. I'd say the average guy on the street could do the same though. Thanks for your positive comment.

Love this Pete, like you I do all my own work. Just starting on a new one just hope I get enough back from the blasters to turn into a scooter!!

I posted these pictures on Lambretta street racers on Facebook and a few people said I should change it or they didn't like it. As I see it there's nothing wrong with Indian GP's so why try and hide the fact it's Indian? My intention was never a faithful repo but I like the GP stripes so I fitted them. I'm happy with the look of it and I think the S badge suits it very nicely. Thanks for your positive comment mate.

Too true. My Injun, The Biriani Bullet is badged with the S on the horncast and i also have the VIJAY on the legshield.

Where'd you get that gear pully from with the spoked holes? Never seen one like that before

They came from Mito Lambretta. They took forever to arrive, but we're worth the wait. I'm not sure if they are still stocking them though. Cheers Pete.
