The cable i have is not an s2 cable.
It might be short if i try run it where the front brake normally goes.
But to be fair it wont go down anyway.
So i shall remove the clamp and grind a bit off.
Dremell.. dremell...whats one of them
Ive got a 9 inch and 4 inch grinder
Am a rough and ready York lad.
I shall use my rotary tool or take it to a bench grinder and try and take off a little bit.
Now that i know what i need to do i shall try and fettle it.
Having never done it before, am just a bit unsure of the best course of action to take.
Thankfully help is always at hand here

A dremel is a rotary tool m8,
If you use the ScootRS braided hose as I did? it’ will fit after a bit of fettling to the headset & clamp as in my pics!
Then Feed the hose into position & bolt the clamp into the headset
then feed hose through the chrome ring & route down the fork tube into the position you choose

So out came the clamp. 4 inch grinder.
Decided to clean it as well. Dipped in brick cleaner overnight. Refitted and cable now routed

Next problem

The new brake housing is slightly longer, also the hole and angle are slightly smaller/different chamfer.
It wont fully fit onto the handlebars

Am thinking i might be able to dremmel it. Any other suggestions??

Is it an Italian hydraulic handle fitting?

Not sure to be honest.
Its what came with the scootrs disc brake. S2 version. The switch does not fit either. Not without some work anyway.
Did scootrs do a version for indian s2 models?
The series 3 one will not even fit on the handle bar.

Mines Italian & fitted no problem.
With yours being a Spanish S2 it maybe slightly diff?
Others may know better on this m8
The switch on mine fitted ok too & it’s only a cheap one with a better anodised cover fitted

Out with my rotary tool and newly bought attachments.
4 hours of carefull grinding, fitting and re grinding finally got it to fit nicely.
Where did you get your ligt switch from?
I have now got mine to fit. Its the original switch. I stripped it a few years ago and rebuilt it.
It still has the original wires so i may swap it for a good new one.

4 hours, there'd be feck all left if I spent 4 hours with a dremmel. Last one I fitted was tight and wouldn't butt right up to the headset but just used a file on perceived high spots and worked it on with grinding paste. Also had to extend the 2 holes for the screws about 1mm.
Was the route from the master cylinder to headset OK? I mocked one up and it was much better with the 20 degree banjo rather than the 90 degree they normally come with.
Was there much spare cable as it's a shorter route than normally used on a S3 headset.
