Adam
That's probably why I'm struggling, just re-jetting since putting on a Ky-Tronik advance/retard unit

Hi Tom... good to see your name in the top 3 for Scootering race reports... spot on
My concern is that we are talking very small, very accurate modifications needed and I'd rather pay someone to get it right/accurate during manufacture, rather than me bugger it up!

That said, I've found that X2, X13 and X7 needles can vary considerably on shaft diameter, even though they are supposed to be the same. I guess I might be better to accurately modify parts myself, rather than blindly trust even Dellorto's quality control!

I Agree that it is a shame that you can't get in between sizes on the atomiser for PHBH however some tuners can modify them although you will get charged more than a standard atomiser...
For example I wanted to go to VHSH but the carb would not fit with my set up without fouling my fuel tank so to set up the carb as best as possible a tuner made an AV269 for my set up.
I guess Dellorto see the round slide carbs as dated as they DO make in between sizes for the flatslides.

Please give us some feedback on ease of modification and accuracy, if you have a way to measure?
Well done
