I notice you've left the crank, seals and bearings (unprotected) in place when you worked on the casings
. Are you just cleaning the casings with all parts intact or will you be removing/replacing ?

all bearings/seals will be replaced. You probably noticed that the previous owner fitted the clutch seal the wrong way....mick1 wrote:I notice you've left the crank, seals and bearings (unprotected) in place when you worked on the casings. So you contiuned with the cautious port timing
What was the duration of the boost port in the end?
I would start with a CR of at least 11 on this

For me 120 boost is too low. should be the same as the main transfers as a minimum, if you want speed. Lower is only good for economy, which is not so interesting.
Malossi make good cylinders that go even faster when they are ported

Black clouds are approaching:
I Found by accident a crack in the hole that support the cluster shaft. I guess it's quite a classical T5 issue. Rest of the case is free from any other crack. As I do not have any spare case left I'm gonna do a major welding job on it.

Along the black marks to stiffen the main fragile areas.
