The top would be easy. Simply cut the tube down and fit suitable bearing cup. This is how custom bike headstocks are done. The lower on a lammy is more difficult due to lack of space.
My whole headstock with bearing cups etc was scratch built but top bearing was straight fit off shelf item. Lower required minimal work to the fork tube.
