I see this problem a lot......misfire/bounce under load, like a rev limiter. It's always stator or flywheel.
See our YouTube scooter channel for Tech-help: https://www.youtube.com/c/TheScooterFactory/videos
Sorry if i insist, can anyone tell me which flywheel (brand, weight etc..) is best with my current set up?
Something that doesnt require pick up adjstments etc... a true plug and play super tested 100% reliable.

Sorted. I fit the new BGM flywheel and the bike revs up like a dream. Superb quality. Brilliant idea the timing markers. Now i just have to fine tuning the carb.
Out of interest how much was the flywheel and where did you get it from ?

It's probably the best scooter part i've ever bought. I've suffered so much with the electronic system of my SIL (restored-in-india) GP200 that i thought i'd never sort it out. For 1 year has been completely hit and miss, so that i could never really appreciate the quality of my cylinder kit besides that it took me home from a rally after a terrible 300km trip in which my scoot was misfiring, backfiring, stuttering, spitting oil from the pipe, carb leaning etc...
With the previous SIL flywheel i tryed 4 different stator plates: 2 original Sil, 1 SIl with BGM pick up and 1 BGM and nothing really worked.
For my experience this flywheel matches perfectly with the BGM stator plate: no rubbing or pick up adjustments needed whatsoever. I set the timing of my Mugello between 18 and 19 (before was on 15!). Now it has a good bottom end and pulls really well throughout the rev range with a smoothness that i've never experienced before. It makes also the carb tuning easier. At the moment i run: 55 pilot- AV266-X13-main 125 open mouth phbh 30.
I think i said here or somewhere else the the Mugello was boring, well i have to take my words back. It's actually quite revvy especially when the expansion kicks in from 5.000 rpm onwards and still feels very reliable.
