OOps, forgot about that one, that gets my vote as easily the best H4 conversion I've seen, makes my effort look crap
That conversion has taken into consideration the height of the overall holder so that the original clip can be used. I didn't do that, I just ground the holder away with a dremel and glued the h4 holder on, THEN I thought about how I would hold it in place, the spring in the photo was only a temp solution, I made another clip in the end but I wish I'd had the forethought that Col150 had. I've done 2 like it now so that 2 holders I need to source so that I can do it properly

well...
I spent £2.79 on LED's and made my own, just got to get some resistors to limit the current as my charging system is putting 13.8v-14.1v to the battery
used 5mm red LED's just drilled a bit of acrylic and glued them in then soldered the pins up to give network of series and parrallel
its erm,,, BRIGHT!! LOL
quite pleased with it, after cutting the lens down and now making the LED board, it looks factory but is in fact modified

I know Halogens are brighter, but do they actually light up the road better? I think not....

If you are regularly blowing halogens then it's probably due to loose connections or touching the lamp with your fingers when fitting. Only cheep reproduction lamp holders are subject to melting. That said, some halogens aren't worth fitting, make sure there is a shield fitted under one filament (dip), some are just twin filament and the dip and main give the same beam.

I've just bought a pair of these (although I only need one obviously). It fits very neatly inside the headlight of my Rally and is very bright. It doesn't throw a beam but it should make a good daytime light.
They do them in different sizes so I might get one for the Jet too.
There is just a hint of boy-racer Vauxhall Corsa about them though!
