Obviously not a Lambretta man then as they don't have a rear brake .

Picked up a cheap outboard disc for my Lambreta, was amazed at the difference in stopping power and can confirm it has stopped one major rear end up a tractor !!

And as i goes i never use the back brake so much so that someone had a go on my px and must of used it as it stuck on

Can anyone recommend a hydraulic inboard? I've got an SX200 and would prefer to keep the original look... but would like to be able to stop a bit better!

LTH one is outboard but looks like a disc hub from kerbside.

Broady will still convert your backplate if you ask nice but probably not cheap...

And then there's master cylinder location to consider as well

You don't necessarily need to drill your headset for the hydraulic hose. If you thin down your throttle control rod and drill the hydraulic master cylinder mounting that comes with the disc brake you can thread a longer than standard hydraulic hose through the headset in the same route a cable would go. and scroll down to Tech Notes it shows how you drill the mounting which is what I copied. You just have to mark out where the cable would leave the headset to go into the brake lever mount and drill a 8mm clearance hole. I then filed an indent in the side of the hole I drilled to take a twin flex speaker cable through for the brake light switch. You also have to turn down the throttle control rod to between 5 and 6 mm diameter where it passes through the headset from just before where the cable enters to about 50mm inside the headset. I've found if I sit up straight put my shoulders out that works better than any lambretta brake

Nice Mr Broadhurst is doing mine but said he doesn't get any call for those old fashioned brake conversions any more
I suppose all you quick boys are going for a twin outboard set up

Corrado sold out by the looks of it but is it the same as in the scooterotica website ?
