What are the dimensions of these oil carriers, we have some coated thin steel & a rivet gun at work. :D

How have you attached it to the footboard strut on a series 2 diesel? Rear bracket goes to the number plate bolts I presume?

Rear onto number plate as you say,and front is attached to a bracket that originally held a circular electrical gizmo (shaped like a shoe polish tin, A rectifier I think) that has long since been removed

Can i askk why people aere so exited about these there not a new idea they were areound in 1982 usually made from mesh like this type (round hole) http://www.perforated-metal.biz/Plain_S ... _Metal.htm and bent over a piece of 2x and a few bitstack welded to the sides

Yeah and we were all wearing Jam shoes...saw a lad about 16 with a pair on last week...
