if i remember correctly there is a rubber block that screws into the frame, distance bolt screws into the rubber block and to the top of the shock and the bolt through the engine and shock. support the engine and frame with either a jack or axle stand, but support both. remove bolt from shock and engine 14mm spanner and if there is a problem then the shock should come of easy from the top mounts. i would recommend an up grade on the rear shock to either bgm, yss, sip, malossi or fournales what ever you can afford, they have got to be better than the standard shocks and look 100x better.

Its the rubber mount that has separated from the metal plate. My fault apparently for lifting the scoot up and moving it around. Got new mount, will wak it on tomorrow. Pain in ass though having to remove fuel tank to get at that top bolt. And I bet it won't come under easily either. Mechanic at Scooter 2000 in Old Hill, West Mids is a top bloke for tips on how to do stuff. Will have to wait till new year to change the shock though.
