Ps. Thanks for the tip on the Gori Seat. Got one on its way from gori themselfs, in black.

Fit my rear brake, Fixed the stand which was missing a bracket so it had bent the struts.

Fixed the struts with a long pipe and rubber mallet on the elongated hole.

Paint rejuvinator and a polish. Just waiting for my seat and I have to have another look at the rear brake because if I said it was crap, I would be over-exhagerating!

Anyway took it for a ride into town and back and it doesn`t make those awfull vibrating sounds of metal against metal and the controlls are luuuurvly.

The biggest change being the clutch. It doesn`t seem to require much cable pull and is realy easy to pull.

Rear brake sorted.

I had used the wrong sized cam wotsit (the small one for li), I put this down to the fact that I did the same a few days ago on my li2.....hang on, thats also got a GP engine

Need to sort out some jetting niggles on my GP and going to order a handlebar choke off Darrell....

Started work on my Li2.



Test fit my new MB clubman, MMW master cylinder and 13 liter tank and toolbox for clearance and started the stripdown.



Does anyone know what sort of finish this original rear carrier had when it was new? It wasn`t chrome.



I`m going to whip out the engine this week and have a look the gearing. I think it`s a normal indian crank so will change that.

This is how I am going to set it up for fast touring,
AF 6 plate,
MB crank
TS1, lowerd barrel
MB 30mm manifold
MB clubman
Mikuni TMX 30mm
BGM stator

I think it will be a fun scooter to ride to the rally`s
