Got it tuned to Stage 4, stuck a 28 delly on it & a clubman, sits at 60 on my s2 & has never let me down, and I rag it to f**k! :-)

I would put an indian 150 stage 4 top end on, a clubman pipe of some description, and your 25mm carb. match everything, get new points and condenser, battery, and the likes. strip and clean the whole engine, and replace the seals, the bearings will probably be ok, they've been in a low revving commuter all their lives, but check them all the same. theres a lot to be said for "less is more" ;)

Thank you all. This are all valid options!
I will have to think it through, set up a budget and seriously decide what the bike mainly is going to be used for.

I suspect the Lis 150 gearbox is a good one for the tuning purpose.
The 25mm phbl is enough for me, I don't aim to get a larger cab.

So its cheap tune, moderate tune, file the ports myself (dangerous) or get a kit and up parts of the engine.

also think about who your riding with

I went a bit silly in honesty, my first scooter, just thoguht I would try and build the engine right from the off, muggy kit, MEC crank, 26mm carb, expansion etc etc

yeah its ok, not fast enough for me in honesty, way too slow and no top end to get excited about, but once I went ofr a ride with other scooters I realised that it was quicker than most of them, and my first scooter rally I was sat at 45-50 all the way home as one of the guys has a bog stock LI150 and that was his lot

now have to wonder if it was worth it LOL

Valuable opinions, If I could keep a steady 60mph with a passenger on then that would be a good performance for me.
