FYI: I went to the TMX 38 and it runs like a champ. Feels much more solid than the 30. Only slight mods from out-of-the-box required (throttle valve #5, smaller pilot). It still works with the T.S air bellow and fits under the panels.

There will be many reasons why things arnt changed for something different time, money and lazyness are three, whats your point ?

We used a Yamaha 250 motocross inlet rubber 4V3 & modified the rubber. This also sits the carb more upright. We are using a 39mm Dellorto.
