Yeah but the viva hb had a bar (chrome nose) running down the middle of the front grill like the one under the tarp.
The viva hc / firenza/magnum had a bar too but also a ridge down the middle of the bonnet
Apparently the story goes that somebody at ford leaked the design plans to gm vauxhall for the upcoming escort model.
So gm designed the hb viva from them and released it about a year or so earlier.
Still never quite caught on like the escort though
