YOU CAN USE ANY 12V BATTERY ;) dont just think standard motorcycle size a 12v remote control car battery pack is suitable and you can hide these anywere

This should do it, may be worth experimenting with cap values though.

i charge a 12volt m c battery from the bgm unit , which i have fixed behind the legsheild spare wheel carrier, it runs my led rear light, led rear brake, led speedo, park and two extra high viz leds in head lamp, the only powered item by ac is main headlamp, i also plug a sat nav in to the battery via a cig charger and also charge my phone at same time, also used to run a vapour speedo and egt gauge as well off the bgm unit but dont now as these have broke, ive never had to charge the battery from the mains

I have fitted these Modchargers to two of my scooters now. What an amazing and ingenious piece of kit, well impressed and only take a couple of minutes to fit.

I've recently fitted pathfinders on my scooter that I was going to wire up to an independent battery (my scoots AC) that I could re charge when necessary, could one of these be used to charge the battery as I go along?

Cheers.

I think it only kicks out about 1 or 2 amp....dont think that would be enough to charge a battery. I know it wont work my tyre pumper upper that works via cigar socket
