This was on the way to last years C2C, and about 4 hours after the first pic on this thread that Eden posted .

Theres nothing like striping the top end down by the side of the road

When I broke down on the M1 jcn 16
I waited 2 hours they couldn't find me
But they did believe me when I said it was broken
(BGM stator, the rivets failed) and sent a flatbed.
The nice man said next time do a search for local breakdown/recovery and pay direct, he said £50 from jcn 16 to my house and no waiting :bouncing: :bouncing:

Wasn't someone like Mb or AF going to do courses at one time ?

on the way back from Elba rally at a motorway services in Italy, literally in the middle of nowhere. possibly 25kms south of Sienna,maybe,erm possibly or maybe nearer to Perugia,maybe? now how comprehensive was our spares list....panic time.....

total despair!! who packed the flywheel extractor??? and why have we got 2 kilo's of parmesan cheese and no crosspoint screwdriver!?
