Something loke this?

Excellent project, but I can't help suspecting that the frame was originally a Lambretta that's been cut, shut, smashed, bashed and welded into what we see here, reminds me of that old Peugeot 206 advert Fair play tho' I like the look of this
Where did you get the master cylinder from, I'm after a clutch side?
Think I might have one Mike, I`ll have a look and get back to you. It`s yours if I do.
Just ordered a widebody floor for my own project, they`re on special offer on ScootRs...£24 posted Another step closer.

I got the master cylinder from SIP but I'm pretty sure they're from a Runner. I think I saw a clutch side one laying on a bench at Atoms the other day

Thanks Bofs. The AJP that I tried once before was cast in steel and therefore unsuitable to weld on to the switch housing; however at that price it's probably worth a try, cheers

Got a phone call today from the person getting all the various bits to fit together. "There's a problem..." this was delivered in the same tone of voice a doctor might tell you that you've got three months to live!
The engine is in the frame but the wheel is twisted and leans over slightly. This is not good. Fixable but lots of work. Still, when you've swum half way across the river you just have to grit your teeth and carry on.
On the plus side, the new forks and disk brake are all in and look great.
Why is nothing ever easy.

At the moment I'll be pleased if it goes in a straight line!
