Advice on measuring squish

If I had a brain I'd be dangerous :oops:

After reassembling and measuring again, I'm now getting 1.47mm, Without a base gasket.
I think I wasn't getting my twist of solder in the right place!

well done, you got there in the end. 1st time i did it i dropped the solder into the barrel like a knob then i had it poked it the exhaust and cut the end off.....takes a while to get the knack of some things.
