Had to spend last 2 weekends sorting my Lambretta, but managed to squeeze in some time for the Vespa as well:
Day 2: rubber tubes for engine cowls by
wheredowegonowbutnowhere, on Flickr

Is this the right way this should be fitted or should it be rotated 180°?

Anyone knows if this seem correct and what function it has? There wasn't one fitted when I took it apart so not really sure here...

Oops, only just spotted this thread Vic, it's looking amazing and having seen it in the flesh before you started I can vouch that it certainly is a sweet looking scooter. Looking forward to seeing the finished article. We must meet up for a bear in Belgium :fb:

My Lambretta has taken up most time recently but got stuck with that so I managed to get some work on the SS done:

The outer one was a nightmare getting sort of right. How did Piaggio get it right, or didn't they?

keep the photos coming - I am biased because I have one, but SS180's are my favourite vespa!

Did both.
Fitted the 5th runner but forgot to document it. Only the hole drilling process was documented...
