Having another go at posting the pics
Finally got round to fitting spacers of approx 5mm(I used anti vibration washers that usually go between the underside of Lambretta legshields and the struts)also used some between the housing and the frame.
Has a steady

ride to Whitby and back yesterday and it seems OK,fan only came on once so hopefully the improved airflow may be helping.
Only time will tell,I'll keep ya updated.
How it was before I started:
with spacers between fan and rad and also between housing and frame
Before all bolts fitted and it was finally fixed into place just showing the gaps
I was told by the owner of Scomadi No.14 who I saw at Whitby that Frank has now put spacers between the rad and the fan on his so there may be a problem with running and temperature issues without the spacers.
Cheers

Cheers for that Ian.
I know someone who can make me radiators of any size and also pressurised so i won't need a fan.
It's something to think about for the future.
Cheers

I sent my radiator with the fan connected to my RD350 to GMX down south who spec race moto-cross and they said no matter how much air was getting through the fan used (gts300) it would run very hot as the core was cheap crap and couldn't handle the heat , they also commented on the fact that it wasnt pressurised and meaning it pisses out everywhere once it's getting just a wee bit over heated..
In saying that i was running an RD350 of a gts300 rad,but techology has moved on and with the right material a radiator half the size of the old RD ones should do the job.
The cooling system is totally sorted now and i'd recommend them to anyone..
