Regarding cost Im not sure anyone has said it is cheaper ?
Having seen both fixing kits I stand by the one in my 'blurry' picture as being more substantial. Like you I am not involved in this, just the guinea pig and advertising mule.
Ill let others give a less biased opinion if they wish to do so, but I like mine. It carries enough, but alas while you choose the axe my weapon of choice is the crossbow, which has to be strapped to the headset.
