reading powolottis post i read it as the camlam/CE uk batch was not up to CE spec (these were out before xmas) and the next batch were

Thats not how i read it
he said the first UP TO SPEC batch was sold exclusively to UK. The kit HE will be using is from the SECOND batch, which hasnt left production yet
Incidentily a friend of mine bought one of the out of spec ones- The reason they are rejects has got nothing to do with Charley Edmunds keen eye for a perfect kit. They are just a little bit wrong in a few areas. The exhaust side stud holes are in the wrong position and I think the spigot is slightly too big. Perhaps the casting didnt shrink as they predicted? Who cares its all sorted now
Cheers,
Dryballs

hello dryballs
the post was "Please note that the first batch of SuperMonza kits is entirely sold to UK - this is the series that was not up to CE standards. The second batch should be leaving Gilardoni next week. These kits are improved versions that are manufactured as intended. The kit on the raffle engine is from this second series"

It wouldn't look good if you won it Michael.

don´t worry, I am not involved at any stage into money, tickets and raffle...was just a hint for Dan that buying 100 tickets will maximise his chances

It's just semantics, but I guess the first kits that were sold by LTH were pre production rejects rather than the first batch.
not trying to wind you up mick, just clarify our german friends post and not alarm people who have laid out large sums fir their kit
the reject ones dont fit without a lot of work
